A MICKNICS luxury picnic is a fully styled, thoughtfully curated outdoor — or indoor! — experience designed around you. We set everything up before you arrive and break it all down after you leave. All you have to do is show up and enjoy. Think beautiful tablescapes, cozy blankets and pillows, a styled charcuterie board, card games and everything you need for a perfect experience — all handled by us.
The Picnic for Two is designed for couples or solo celebrations — it includes a decorative tent, a styled table for two, charcuterie and refreshments, cozy blankets and pillows, card games and our Fix-It All Kit. Starting at $225 for up to 3 hours.
The Group Picnic is perfect for birthdays, girls' trips, bridal showers and more — it includes a themed decorative table, setup and breakdown, charcuterie and refreshments, card games and the Fix-It All Kit for up to 20 guests. Starting at $375 for 4 guests with $50 per additional guest. A decorative cabana tent can be added for $40.
The Fix-It All Kit is one of our favorite touches! It's a curated kit included with every picnic that has everything you might need on the day — first aid supplies, bug spray, a speaker, lotion, gum, a portable phone charger, phone charging cords and selfie tools. We think of everything so you don't have to!
All picnic packages are up to 3 hours. Need more time? Let us know during your consultation and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Almost anywhere! We set up at local parks, your backyard, Airbnbs, hotels, private venues and more — across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Not sure where to go? We're happy to help suggest beautiful picnic spots in your area!
Some parks do require permits for styled setups. We'll let you know in advance if a permit is needed for your chosen location. Permit arrangements are the responsibility of the client but we're happy to guide you through the process!
Absolutely! If the weather isn't cooperating or you simply prefer an indoor experience we can bring the whole setup inside — an Airbnb, hotel room, your living room or any indoor space that works for you.
We arrive early and have everything picture-perfect before you get there. Setup typically takes 60–90 minutes depending on the package and add-ons selected.
Every picnic includes refreshments and a beautifully styled experience curated for your group. For guests looking to elevate their experience, charcuterie boards are available as an optional enhancement and can be customized to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free preferences upon request.
Yes! Vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options are available upon request. Just let us know during your consultation or in your questionnaire and we'll make sure everything works for your group.
Yes! Our Birthday and Anniversary upgrades start at $85 each and include personalized cupcakes or chocolate-covered strawberries, a fresh-cut flower arrangement, a custom themed table, an activity of your choice, a polaroid camera and film and a personalized sign. The perfect finishing touch!

Yes! During your consultation we'll talk through your vision, color preferences and any personal touches you'd like incorporated. Every picnic is uniquely designed around you.
We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance to ensure your preferred date and location are available. We do accommodate last-minute bookings when possible — see rush booking fees below.
Yes! For bookings 7 days or less before the event full payment is due at booking plus a $50 rush fee. For bookings 8–14 days out full payment is due at booking with no rush fee.
For standard bookings (15+ days out) a 50% retainer is due at booking and the remaining 50% is due 7 days before your picnic. For bookings 180+ days out a flexible installment plan is available.
We monitor weather closely leading up to every picnic! If conditions are unsafe we'll work with you to reschedule within 6 months based on availability. We always recommend having a backup indoor location in mind just in case. No refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations.

Rescheduling to a new date within 6 months is available based on availability. The base setup fee transfers to the new date at no charge. Charcuterie, fresh florals and perishable items must be repurchased for the new date at current pricing.
