Mick'Nics Event Contract

Please review and sign this contract. Without this contract on file, your event will not be confirmed.  

This agreement made on                                                                      between Mick'Nics LLC and 

Retainer

An initial non-refundable retainer of 50% and a signed contract must be secured prior to any services being performed by Mick’Nics

 

Contracted package

Includes all services described in selected package details reviewed and distributed to clients. Any additional services/products requested by the client incurred by Mick’Nics will be billed directly to the client at cost. All services contracted cannot be deducted, but additional services can be added.

Expiration

The current event date is valid 1-week post origination date to secure services.

Liability

It is understood that Mick’Nics is only liable for services completed and provided by Mick’Nics and cannot be held liable for the services of other contracted vendors. It is understood that in no event shall Mick’Nics be liable for consequential damages of any kind.

Cancellation Policy

If the event is canceled 24 hours before the event, 50% of the retainer will be refunded. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available for up to one month.

Responsibility

Mick’Nics is not responsible for Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, an Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency, or Other Incidents Not within the control of the consultant, i.e. accident, death in the family, illness, pregnancy, or sudden tragic circumstance. In such a situation, Mick’Nics will coordinate with the client in order to reschedule or cancel, at no additional charge to the client.

Overtime

Additional unplanned and/or un-contracted services (such as but not limited to, a full redo of design, day of event extension of time, services outside of the scope of the agreement, management of non-Event day activities, etc) are considered overtime and will be billed with prior notification and consent at the rate of $100 per hour.

Damage or Loss of Accessories

The client assumes full responsibility for any damage or loss of any equipment, including but not limited to tents, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, décor, China, or flatware. Any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment will be charged to the client at replacement cost. All equipment should be present and ready for pickup by Mick’Nics after the event. If Mick’Nics staff is not on-site for the event, the client is responsible for the safety of the Mick’Nics setup left on site. Mick’Nics does not accept responsibility due to negligence by the client or any attendees of the client’s event that causes any damage as a result. The client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for and preserving the property of Mick’Nics. Clients shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to rentals, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost. a $175 damage and loss fee will apply up to 72 hours post-event after a thorough inventory.

Photo Release

Mick’Nics has the rights and permission to use photographs and/ or videos taken on the event date for any legal uses, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content. I understand that no royalty, fee, or other compensation shall become payable to me or anyone in my party by reason of such use

 

Privacy

Any orders placed on the Mick’Nics website or directly with our staff will be kept private and used solely for the purpose of completing your order. All client emails will be saved in our system and included in future Mick’Nics mailings regarding updates, information, or promotions related to our company. Your email or order information will never be shared or sold to any outside party at any time. Should you wish to be removed from our email list, you can opt out at any time or contact us at COMPANY EMAIL. Our payments made by credit cards are by a secure encrypted credit card processing system to ensure the safety and privacy of all transactions.

Venue Decorum

Mick’Nics and all partnering venues reserve the right to eject or cause to be ejected from the premises, any person or persons (including unruly and unsupervised children) engaging in disruptive, belligerent, or threatening conduct. Mick’Nics and all partnering venues reserve the right to refuse admission to any person displaying the above behaviors or who appears intoxicated. Mick’Nics and all partnering venues shall not be held liable for any damages by the client through exercising this right. The client agrees to abide by and comply with directions and instructions issued by Mick’Nics and all partnering venues.

Alcohol

The client is responsible for all consequences of all guest behavior during and following the consumption of alcohol. Mick’Nics and all partnering venues retain the right to limit the number of alcoholic beverages being consumed by you or your guests. If the client provides or causes to be provided alcohol not in accordance with the above policies, Mick’Nics and all partnering venues retain the right to end the client's event immediately and without further explanation.

 

Payment Terms

All events are required to be paid in full 7 days prior to your event and must have a signed contract on file and pre-approved by Mick’Nics. Any charges for additions or changes shall be due within 4 days of the event. The event will not take place without full payment on file.
